Meet our key staff

OLAMIDE SANTOS – Cofounder and Director of Logistics       

Olamide Santos is a diplomat-in-training, youth development capacity facilitator and environmentalist. As a seasoned volunteer, he has worked with organizations focused on people with disabilities, students from low income families, and climate change. He has also hosted a radio program aimed at promoting leadership values among young Nigerians. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international Relations and a Diploma in Business Administration. He is a YALI alumnus and holds a plethora of online certificates. Olamide has a passion for environmental management and sustainable energy which informed his vision for EarthLight International.

ADAOBI WHITNEY OSSAI – Cofounder and Director for Business Development

Adaobi holds a first degree in Zoology (University of Ibadan) and an MBA (in view) from University of South Wales. She is an experienced Sales personnel and a start-up enthusiast with a passion for building businesses and challenging the status quo. She had 6+ years’ experience in delivering on companies’ goals through her strong analytical, out of the box approaches. She is a certified scientist with a passion for improving the environment. She has channeled this passion into supporting NGOs who drive awareness on how to reuse and recycle waste.

INIABASI AKPAN – Environmental Policy

Iniabasi is a graduate of International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University. She is a serial volunteer with involvement in many volunteer initiatives such as ‘Project Clean-Up’ in Bariga; ‘Prison Outreach’ in Ibadan; ‘Summer School for IDPs’ in Abuja; ‘Pad the Girl Initiative’; ‘The Sexual Abuse Campaign’, and so on. She has worked with reputable organizations such as Tamfund Foundation, Lagos; Auricle Services, Lagos; Centerplate Steamship Authority, Massachusetts; and United Nations Information Centre, Lagos.

MICHAEL OLAOLUWA OJO – Environmental Health Educator

Michael Olaoluwa Ojo is a graduate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Ibadan with distinction. He is a public health enthusiast, environmentalist and social impact innovator. He believes in social impact where everyone is involved which has been his driving force in his work with EarthLight International to achieve innovation in sustainable development.  Michael is goal oriented, with intermediate skills in Graphic Design, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Business Innovation and Pitching which are readily applied in his work. 


Oluwabusola holds a bachelor’s degree in international law and Diplomacy from Babcock University. She is a writer, activist and sustainable development advocate. Her work experiences cut across, research, communications and project management. She is passionate about economic development and building sustainable communities through activism, technology and policy framework. She is currently pursuing a career in international development and public policy.

CLEMENT JOHNSON – Project Manager

Clement Johnson is an environmentalist with special interest in Waste Management, Climate Change and Sustainability. He has functioned as a project manager with a social enterprise that deals with waste recovery and processing. He has organized and been a part of number of programs that have benefitted the environment.

OLUWASEUN BLESSING DANIEL – Media and Content Creator

Oluwaseun studied International Law and Diplomacy at Babcock University. She is a member of professional bodies such as Nigerian Society of International Law, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, and Institute of Fraud Examiners. She is an SDG enthusiast and advocate for environmental protection. She is also very passionate about agriculture. As a result, she undertook a volunteer project in Sunyani, Ghana to teach local farmers best practices in agriculture. Oluwaseun is a skilled writer and analyst all of which comes into play in her role as she currently manages the organization blog.
